Technical Information
Our activated clay is a naturally occurring chemically inert calcium aluminosilicate clay with the ability to adsorb more water vapour per unit mass than any competitive clay.
The ability to adsorb water vapour arises from the layered structure of this montmorillonite calcium rich clay. Adsorption occurs both on the surface and in between its layers. Unlike other chemically synthesized adsorbents, our activated clay is a naturally occurring mineral. Therefore, it is more economical than microcrystalline celluloses.
- Naturally occurring
